Anthony Okorodudu, Ph.D.

Dr. Okorodudu received his doctorate in Pathology in 1982, and has since distinguished himself in multiple capacities. He is a Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). In addition, he is Director of the Division of Clinical Chemistry, with a staff of 57, four faculty members and two postdoctoral fellows; Director of Correctional Managed Care Laboratories; Director of Pathology Outreach Laboratories and Director of Client Services.

Dr. David Walker, Chairman of the Department of Pathology at UTMB, has written that the success of Dr. Okorodudu's research mentorship is evidenced in three extramural grants from the Southern Medical Association awarded to pathology residents who have entered academic medicine and continue with careers including significant research activities. His peers throughout the world recognize this reputation as an excellent researcher, teacher, and administrator with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within the scientific community.

Dr. Okorodudu lives in League City, Texas with his wife, Osato and their 4 children; Anthony, Anthonette, Daniel, and Dale.
